Private lakes
Went to the same lake in Silverlakes with "gonefishin"(near pines and 178th) on Labor Day. Put in around 6:10am and fished to around 11:30. The bite was a lot slower than last week and the lillies where we caught about 8 bass yielded just a couple. I did manage a 2lber tossing a U-Tail pumpkin color worm on the bank and dropping it in the water slowly, caught another dink on the worm as well. Went to a spot right behind the superwalmart on 183rd and started catching some decent bass between 2-4lbs on shiners. Overall we caught about ten and it beat going to work on a monday.

Rodman
Enjoyed the sunrise on Rodman again this morning. Fished different areas than yesterday and even worse results. I left at 10:30 and did not even get one hit in two different areas i tried. Even threw rattletrap, crankbait, spinnerbait and chatterbait for 10-15 casts each. Then back to DH but nothing worked. Water and condtions look great. Golden Gate
Went to golden gate monday morning around 9 AM and stayed until 2. Fishing was not good at all only landed 3 fish one was decent about 3.5 but the other 2 were small. Did lose one decent fish and had something wake up on a frog and not strike but other then that was not a good day. They had a slight fish kill I had heard about and believe it may have gotten rid of some of the fish we use to catch. Crankbaits, Frogs, and Swimbaits

Rodman
Went to Rodman this morning. not sure if i had a good or bad day. 3rd cast i boated one around 7-7 1/2 pounds. Then about 6-8 casts later had another good one on but she pulled loose before i got her to boat. Fished until about 10:30 and didnt get another hit. Water level is up from last time i was there and is plenty of fishable water but the top of stumps are also underwater which makes it more difficult in some areas. Normally I would give more details but with 2 txs coming up there this month, im going to hold off on them. Kissimmee Chain
Fished Lake Kisseemee with my son on Sunday 9/5. Only the second time I have been on the Lake so still very early in trying to figure it out.
Did not get out until after 8am. Very hot and bright sunshine so only on the wwater until Noon. No real rain over tha last week in the area and a couple of tournaments on the lake on Saturday.
Mainly fished edges and boat trails around "Grassy Island" and had a few bites but only landed 2 small ones both around 18". About 10-12 boats also fishing "Grassy Island" throughout the boat trails and in the pools and pockets withing the island. We were mainly fipping and pitching into the holes in the grass with PowerBait Blue/Black Craws and Zoom Mag II worms. My son caught one on a Zoon Mag II work in Pumpkin Green and I caught mine on Zoom MAG II in Junebug.
Also tried some shiner colored spinnerbaits and rat-l-traps in the boat trails early but no bites.

Johns Lake
Fished Johns lake this morning from 6:30 till 11:00. I caught a bunch of small schoolers this morning and a few more smaller fish throughout the day. With all the recent rain we have had out here the water is up out there. Caught my fish on crankbait, fluke, and worms. Triton TR200- Optimax 225

Orange Lake
Fished and ran Xtreme Div on Orange Sunday. Winning weight was down this month to only 22.52 with BB of 10.08. Flipping bite is a little off lately from what everyone is saying. Two flippers left early. Had total of 11 boats. 2nd was 17.93 and 3rd was 16.57. We finished 6th with 11.11. Partner had 3 big hits, 2 were defintely bass but the didnt hook up. Were several fish in the 5 pound range but no other big ones outside the 10. Water level had dropped a few inches but still no problems with it. North end of lake looks like a winter frost kill. Most of the dead stuff is hyician(sp) or cabbage. Given a month or so to clear out that area will be open to fish pads again. Rodman
Went to Rodman yesterday for a few hours. I need to find more water for our TX at the end of the month. It was the quietest day on Rodman ever. I pulled up to the ramp and there was two trucks there I felt like I had the lake to myself. I started out in the stump fields on some drops. I had three bites and each one right before I set the hook they dropped the bait....Kinda weird but bites are good. Moved to try and find some grass to flip. Flipped a short fish up and then while moving to my next spot I saw some schoolers. I threw the kitchen sink at them until I found something they would eat. I ended up cathing two of them and lost a good one at the boat. I had to be back home so I left after that but I left them biting. By no means is it cold but its starting to feel better out tthere and yesterday evening felt great. Just me and God out there having a nice day fishing :) Marcus Parker
