Fishes Geaorges early Sunday morning, great day early but reached scorching temps by noon, pitched some top water popers early, tried weightless fluke, Senko, finally tried a tube jig, no luck at all, water extremely clear.. resorted to pitching some crivkets near the grass and catching some bream to make a day, webt home with about 6 nice bream. think I will try in the evening here way too clear for busy day time fishing.

Fished George's Lake Saturday from 7 - 2. We caught 56 largest around 3#'s. Slow fishing banks and grass. Bass were schooling by hunting club. Caught a few on Skinny dippers in the thick grass. Fun overall day . Big fish seem to be a little further out on the deep pads.

Arrived at George's Lake late, only caught 6 small bass, around 1-1.5 lbs each. Caught them flipping and pitching in the grass on a brush hog.  Was a little windy, maybe a better day next time.

Fished Georges Lake on New Years day. Got there around 2:00. Cold and windy all day. Fishing was slow.....very slow. Didn't boat a fish till about 45 minutes before sun down. Me and my partner figured em out a little too late. When we finally slowed down and started crawlin june bug trick worms instead of crankin lipless rattlebaits we caught 4 or 5 fish in the last 45 minutes of the day. All small but I think it could be a fun day if the weather cooperates next time.

Fished George's Lake in Keystone Heights and caught 24 bass on trick worms and crank baits. Nothin' really too big, biggest around 3 lbs. First time fishing this lake in about a year. When the weather clears up I'm going back!
