It's probably no secret that I am a moderator on BBC, and I frequent that forum quite a bit. I also am a member of a few other related forums.
I've seen FAR too much where different sites/forums get bashed and "talked about" in a negative way. Please don't let FBN get involved in that kind of activity in any way!
I feel I should put my 2 cents in on this, since I started some of it.
I felt very disrespected on another well known site. NOT BBC, and i think I every public shared which site. but the way people were talking to me and about me was very disresectful,and simply rude. thats why I posted. if this is totally off your topics forget i said any thing.
Not off the topic and most likely unrelated. It just "gets to me" when people can't treat each other with a little bit of dignity and respect either on a message board or in real life.
Hey trashy i dont think you have to worry.as our leader has stated intolerance will not be tolerated on this site.and our moderators on here will DROP the hammer on anyone if they get out of line.
As tritonmike said "Intolerance will not be tolerated" on FBN. I am a member of just about every good sized fishing forum out there. With the exception of BBC I rarely post, though. Don't have a clue what made you bring it up, but we like to think of FBN as the polite neighbor to the other sites. Anything like that won't last long here.

I would hope that any man that has a problem would handle it like a man and talk to/about the person/subject with the people involved without silly confrontation and or childishness. I mean after all we are all men here and we should act like men. And the HAMMER will be dropped.

I think the difference on this site is that we all actually like each other. Me and Cindee have had nothing but fun at every one of the tournaments, even the Black Creek monsoon!!! Being new to this whole tournament thing, we have had numerous helping "hints" and words of encouragement and we both think very highly of all of you and we have felt part of the crowd from day one...
There is no place for being disrespectful on this or any board, IMO. I too am on the BBC and I'd be lying if I said I agreed with everything someone posted on there or even here, for that matter. When I disagree with a post, I simply ignore it and move on. There is nothing to be gained by being confrontational or argumentative. I have even posted something and after I though about it a while, went back and deleted the post because I was being perhaps argumentative. First reaction is not always the best.
These post can be like email. Because its the written word and not everybody communicates through writing like they might want to, oftentimes something comes out different from what is intended. When you see that, give the guy the benifit of the doubt. He probably didn't mean it the way it sounded or the way it reads!!

First and foremost, I have never seen anything like that here either.
I brought it up because I am a member on several different forums, both fishing/boating related as well as other subjects. It seems that every now-and-then a few individuals seem to like starting a "flame war" or "message board battle" between sites.
I just don't see the need for such a thing, and hate seeing that kind of stuff. I also brought the subject up because I know that there are several members registered here that frequent some of the other boards that I do.
I have posted my thoughts/opinion on the subject on many of the boards that I visit.
A few certain individuals need to understand and learn that a message board is a form of communication, nothing more, nothing less. Because of the communication that goes on, I have met and made several friends. I just hate seeing a few individuals spoil a good thing for no apparent reason.
