Big Game 15# on about 3/4 of my reels -- I have a big spool and change often .
Only other thing I use is Power Pro 40# -- I really DON'T like floro at all.

Agree on the big game.
Also agree with fivebasslimit. As Chad Morgenthaler put it to me "Mono is the old. Get with the new." Probably the best advice I got on that trip! The fluoro took a bit of getting used to, but mono is now stricly topwater for me. FBN Founder/Angler Support Our Sponsors!!!

I used Trilene XL for a long time, then switched to P-Line for a long time. I found 1000 Yard rolls of a Rapala mono on sale a Pro Bass for $3.00 a roll. I tried it and it is as good as any mono I have ever used. For the price I can change line often.

I use Ande 15# backcountry(blue color, I tried some of the white but either had a bad spool or it isnt the same qualify as the blue) on everything but one or two with braid and those are 60 # power pro. I started using it about 5-6 years ago and found i had less trouble and breakage than my partner who uses BG. I buy in the big spools for about $40 bucks and respool my DH rod before each tournaemnt. I do have one with Flouo..tht i throw crankbait or spinner with.. Once thats gone, i wont be buying anymore. Like others are saying...fluoro has definitely taken over my reels. But I do use 15lb Green Big Game on one of my reels, that's it. I use it for topwaters. The fluoro tends to sink the topwaters too much (which sometimes creates a different action). Can't go wrong with Big Game. Tyler Brinks
