I have the spinnerbait worm rod and i like it for the most part.  When i first picked it up and thought it was kind of whimpy but after i caught a good fish it handled it without a problem.  Its got a soft tip and a strong backbone as u could probably tell by picking it up but for the price you can not beat it.

There were a lot lighter than I expected, but I've read where many guys say they are heavy.

they are worth the price for sure. i have fished a couple of the models and i bought my dad one of the spinning rods for christmas.

they are a different rod but they work.  brent chapman and skeet himself use the same rods in the Elite Series.  That speaks volumes about how good they are.

they also had a limited edition "magnum cranking" rod at the Classic and it was a beast....for launching 3/4-1 oz traps and dd22 cranks.  they only had 250 at that time but should be adding them to the lineup everywhere real soon.

i checked them out and thought they were kinda heavy. i have read some reviews on them and some people complained that they were poorly made. i think the st croix mojo bass rod at the same price range is a better deal.

I USED to own a couple carrot stix and I was not impressed. One broke the first day I used it. The other did not break but I was very unimpressed with the quality for the price and I only paid $100 per rod instead of the usual 150. I tried to send my broken one back and E21 wanted $50 for a replacement, It was then that I asked if they were smoking crack. They are not sensitive to me at all and they were overall very cheap IMO. Honestly I think they are a fad because they're orange and stand out. just my opinion. I have used Shimano (Crucial and Cumara) and Falcons and love them. They are by far better with customer service. Shimano replaces any rod for free just pay to ship it.

End rantLaughing

As far as Skeet's rods, I dont know would like to throw one though

I have the jig and worm rod and also the shaky head spinning rod. Like both rods alot I am going to get the whole series. only thing i dont like is were the hook keeper is on spinning rod, but don't never use it.

I have talked to two guys who own them. One loves them and one says he hates them.  Guess it depends on the person. For the price they can't be that bad.  If you are on a budget try the Lamiglas Excel rods for just a few dollars more! These rods are sweet.

I know Skeet was with Lamiglas for years and left suddenly.  Could these new Excel rods have been made to be the new Skeet rods? I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling they might have been.
